My Name is Omar Wankoye and I’m a Nigerien living in Canada and an Executive Travel Assistant for Accor Hotels. I concurrently provide Translation and Career Growth services as a Contractor for CanTalk Canada and Labtuit. I have an academic background in Economics and International Relations and over 10 years of experience in the legal, agricultural, and hospitality industries. I also have some teaching experience as a Behavioral Economics lecturer at African Development University.
I decided to join the North American Chadian Initiative (NACI) in its noble efforts to organize and serve a growing Chadian community in North America because, as an immigrant, I have witnessed the power of networking as a catalyst for positive change and growth. Peter Drucker best described what motivated me to be part of such an amazing initiative: “the purpose of an organization is to enable common men to do uncommon things”; I am grateful for the opportunity to do uncommon things!
