Ikhlass Adam Barka is An Electrical Engineer working at Pennsylvania Power and Light ( PPL) as a Transmission Line Engineer where she engineer projects with voltages varying from 69 kV to 500 kV. She also study the feasibility of new facilities to be connected to the grid. 

Before moving to this position, she also worked as a strategist in various Protection and Substation projects; one of the most outstanding work was the implementation of Substation remote access to retrieve data remotely in case of events in a given substation or line.

Before PPL, Ikhlass worked as Quality Service Afrique consultant and lead Engineer a project to rehabilitate N’djamena (CHAD) high-voltage transmission network and substations which involved working with manufacturers to supply tooling and laboratory equipment; reporting and discussing all suggestions with Quality Services Afrique’s engineers and project manager in Bamako, Mali before submission. Before that, she was the engineer in the team that bid for the multi billions project award to rehabilitate SNE Transmission.

 Before Quality Service Afrique, she worked as the junior engineer in Top Shelf Electric, a firm specialized in Electric Construction. Ikhlass was in charge of making all the studies and engineering the low voltage projects. 

Ikhlass graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Masters In Power and Energy Systems. Ikhlass has also an Associate Degree is Electronic Engineering.

 Ikhlass is a mother of 2 kids and is an avid traveler and a passionate cook. She also loves to read and play/ watch soccer.
