Gahou Boukari aka Kalusha was born and raised in N’djamena, Chad (Quartier Center). Gahou always wanted to find a way to give back to Chad, so when he was approached with the idea to create and join NACI, without hesitation he said yes.
Gahou went to the University of Missouri (Mizzou) to learn English. Once Gahou finished the English language program, he was offered a soccer scholarship to attend a Junior college in Missouri. After graduating with an associate’s degree in Computer Information Systems, he continued his education with another soccer scholarship at Anderson University in South Carolina where he received a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems. Upon graduation, Gahou worked for World Wide Technology in upstate New York for 2 years as an On-site Technician for Dell Inc., IBM and Sony. Gahou then moved to Missouri and worked for AQM Computer Help for 5 years as a System/Network Technician. Five years ago, Gahou moved to Columbia, Missouri to work at Mizzou as a System Support Analyst Specialist. Gahou continues to live in Missouri and work at Mizzou and was recently promoted to Programmer Analyst Specialist.
Gahou is married with 2 kids. In his free time, Gahou enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, watching soccer, coaching his kids’ soccer teams, and napping.
